Tongji University

University located in Shanghai, China, is one of the leading universities for scientific research and engineering education in China. The College of Environmental Science and Engineering (CESE) of Tongji University is one of earliest built institutes for environmental education and research in China. The research fields of CESE cover pollution control engineering, environmental planning and management, water resource, urban water supply and sewage, environmental chemistry, and environmental biology engineering etc. CESE has established broad technical cooperation and academic exchange with many universities in Germany, France, UK, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, etc. The college joined IWA as a University Membership Package in 2009. In 2010 the College co-organised the AQUATECH 2010 IWA Conference in Shanghai together with IWA.
